Refreshing News- Take a breath of Fresh Air

It is rather amazing how your outlook on life can be shaped and fashioned by a few people. It seems as if many of our youth can't read, are not interested in school, are running around with machetes, and are just coasting along. It is amazing how few can shape the minds and perception of many. I don't know if you have been listening to the past few Teacher Talk shows, but if you caught this past show, you would have heard two young Berkeleyites. They spoke well, but not just that, were articulate, expressed themselves well, and showed that there is hoe for the future. You read that right, THERE IS HOPE!!!!!

It is sad that we use such a broad brush to paint all of our youth, we say that Bermudians are not committed, can't make time, and all the other negatives that tend to be aired around the coffee sections in our offices. I dare say that there is hope, if you heard the young girl on the program, if you heard her explain how she wants to study communications, how at her school they are recycling and want to educate others on its importance, you would have gotten a breath of fresh air. So, Bermuda, there is hope, be encouraged, we may not know what the future holds, but we can rest assuredly, knowing that the youth that our on our horizon can hold their own , not just between these shorelines, but on an international and global level. SELAH!
